Dispute Management

Overview

Dispute Management in the Membership Organization (MO) system enables administrators to handle transaction disputes raised by Mpass users. This interface provides tools for tracking, managing, and resolving payment disputes efficiently.

Interface Components

Date Range Selection

  • Date range picker for filtering disputes (e.g., "01/03/2025 - 31/03/2025")
  • Helps administrators focus on specific time periods

Summary Statistics

  • Total Disputed Amount: Displays the cumulative value of all disputes in the selected period
    • Example: US$5.59 total disputed amount

Search and Filtering

  • Search bar for finding specific disputes
  • Filter options:
    • Users dropdown: Filter disputes by specific users
    • Dispute status: Track the current state of disputes

Dispute List Table

The main interface displays a detailed table with the following columns:

  1. ID: Unique identifier for each dispute
  2. Amount: Disputed transaction amount
  3. Disputed By: User who initiated the dispute
  4. Publisher: The merchant or service provider (e.g., ABC News, Chat Bot)
  5. Reason: Cause of dispute, including:
    • Unauthorized charge
    • Duplicated charge
    • Incorrect amount
    • ...
  6. Disputed On: Date when the dispute was filed
  7. Increment ID: Internal reference number
  8. SC ID: Service charge identifier
  9. Compensating TXN ID: Transaction reference for compensation
